Another month has passed and more great gear has made its way into our various studios. Senior editor Matt Pinson reviewed the new Mesa/Boogie Lone Star and awarded it our highest rating yet for any product. Typically, you don’t know what amp will go on to become a classic when it’s first released, but based on what we know of vintage and boutique equipment, it’s likely that the Lone Star will end up on that list of magical sounding gear.

Our studios are filled with all sorts of gear for review at the moment – something for everyone including you drummers, bassists, and engineers out there! So check back regularly for updated content including new product reviews. (We could announce the coming reviews here but where’s the fun in that?!)

Summer NAMM

There’s nothing cool about Austin, Texas in the summertime other than the cool new gear on display at the Summer NAMM convention. We’re hoping to make our way to the Lone Star state this month (schedules permitting) in order to bring you the latest info on hot new products.
