Charae Degrow

Charae Degrow (“Rae”) is a Canadian sound engineer working across live and studio environments, with experience at major Ottawa venues including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Bronson Centre Music Theatre. She is the founder of Rhythm With Rae and a 2026 Capital Music Awards nominee for Sound Engineer of the Year. With a B.A. in Psychology from McMaster University, Degrow also teaches Audio Production in Algonquin College’s Music Industry Arts program, bringing a human-centred perspective to her work in audio and music education.
