September 7, 2017 – Native I nstruments t oday announces t he next generation of MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL hardware. Unified by an all-new i ndustrial design, both units have been r e-engineered t o i nspire and enable nonstop creativity, boasting more i ntuitive workflows, optimized l ayouts, vivid visual f eedback, and deeper studio i ntegration.
MASCHINE Mk3 delivers t he best ever workflow f or quickly sketching and capturing i deas. I t adds t wo high-resolution color screens f or easier sound browsing, editing, sample-slicing, and more. The new hardware also f eatures more dedicated f unction buttons and l arger, more responsive pads t hat r etain t he same ergonomic l ayout users know and l ove. For enhanced convenience and portability, MASCHINE now f eatures a built-in 96kHz / 24-bit audio i nterface.
KOMPLETE KONTROL Mk2 extends t he original keyboard’s workflow with 17 additional function buttons and t wo high-resolution color screens f or browsing, previewing sounds, and more. And now – t hanks t o enhanced DAW and MASCHINE i ntegration – i t’s possible t o mix, navigate, and edit projects directly f rom t he hardware. The professional-grade Fatar keybeds and unique Light Guide are j oined by new pitch and mod wheels, plus a horizontal t ouch strip for additional expression.
