Over 70 Waves Plugins Are Now NKS-Ready for Native Instruments KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE

KNOXVILLE, TN— Waves Audio, a leading provider of audio processing solutions, announces that over 70 Waves plugins are now NKS-ready for Native Instruments KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE.

Waves’ virtual instruments, which have been NKS-ready since 2017, are now joined by 63 more Waves plugins adapted to NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) with seamless integration, allowing producers and musicians direct control of plugin parameters from NI’s hardware and software. All of Waves’ NKS-ready plugins and instruments provide expert plugin mapping from NI hardware controllers, as well as tag-based preset browsing from NI software.

For maximum speed and creative control, Waves’ NKS-ready plugins now load with their key parameters pre-mapped across the control knobs of NI hardware, and plugin presets appear in NI’s powerful tag-based software browsers. Critical plugin parameters are always at your fingertips, for maximum speed and creative control, and presets can be searched by plugin, vendor, type and keywords. You can hear instant sound previews of each preset as you browse, making it faster than ever before to find the perfect sound.

Mick Olesh, Waves EVP of Sales & Marketing, comments, “Waves is excited to collaborate with Native Instruments, enabling NKS ready plugins to work seamlessly with KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE, thus furthering our ongoing commitment to providing tools and solutions, enhancing producers and musicians’ creative process and workflow.”

“Waves shares Native Instruments’ commitment to innovation,” says Daniel Haver, Native Instruments CEO, “and it is fantastic that they have chosen to be a launch partner for NKS effects. Their large portfolio of highly respected sound processors is the perfect showcase for NKS software and hardware integration.”
