Developed in partnership with plugin specialists Audiopunks, Tech 21 NYC is proud to announce the SansAmp Rack plugin.
In collaboration with Andrew Barta, inventor of the SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology, and Tchad Blake, a trailblazing producer, engineer, “mixologist” and musician, Audiopunks has faithfully recreated and augmented these into the digital domain:
The SansAmp Classic. Tech 21’s original all analog tube amp emulator in a pedal format introduced in 1989. It uniquely features a bank of 8 dip switches and four rotary controls for sophisticated tone shaping –from subtle cleans to aggressive distortion.
The SansAmp PSA-1 is a programmable rackmount with an all-analog signal path, introduced in 1993. It is known for its flexibility and powerful tone-shaping controls: Buzz for low-end saturation, Punch for mid-range overdrive, and Crunch for upper harmonics and pick attack, plus overall Drive. It’s been used on thousands upon thousands of records for a multitude of instruments.
Tech 21’s legacy hardware SansAmps quickly gained a reputation as the industry standard, which continues to this day. The SansAmp Rack plugin now delivers the unmistakable SansAmp character directly into your DAW.
Key features include:
• Exact emulations of the SansAmp Classic dip switch pedal and SansAmp PSA-1 rack unit
• All-analog tone paths modeled in detail
• Zero Latency & anti-aliasing
• L/R and M/S linking for stereo workflows
• Flexible mix and output routing
