Velké Němčice, the Czech Republic –17 May 2019 – Furch Guitars (Furch), one of the world's leading manufacturers of premium quality guitars, is introducing Furch Red Master's Choice – the top model of its line of acoustic guitars. The new instrument offers a combination of proprietary production technologies, premium tonewoods, and luxury appointments, until now available only on custom models.
The Furch Red Master’s Choice model features a combination of a unique construction and proprietary production technologies, including top and back acoustic voicing, exceptionally thin and highly consistent Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, precise robotic polishing, and the Furch CNR System® revolutionary neck reinforcement design. These technologies, together with master grade tonewoods and the Grand Auditorium body shape with a cutaway, provide the instrument with a beautiful musical sound that will appeal to players of all styles.
Furch Red Master's Choice is available with a combination of Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The bridge, fingerboard, and headstock overlay are made of highly figured Central American ziricote. The beauty of the woods is underscored by numerous appointments from Hawaiian koa and green abalone, including a special-design concentric-ring rosette, soundboard inlays, and body, fingerboard, and headstock binding. Other decorative features include an abalone headstock inlay in the shape of a leaf and a similar mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlay.
"In designing the Furch Red Master's Choice model, we focused on combining such traditional decorative materials as green abalone and white mother-of-pearl with the warm color shades of exotic woods. The result is an instrument that will appeal to players not only thanks to its excellent sound, but also thanks to stunning looks," says Furch Guitars CEO Petr Furch.
The excellent tuning stability of the Furch Red Master's Choice model is achieved by Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:21 gear ratio. The guitar is fitted with the LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem system, which features a bridge pickup and a side-mounted microphone, and comes with a heavy-duty Hiscox hardshell case.
The Furch Red Master’s Choice model will be available from Furch authorized dealers in July.
