IK Multimedia adds new synths to iOS versions of Syntronik apps

IK Multimedia's Syntronik and Syntronik CS apps for iPhone and iPad now offer the five new synths from the Syntronik Deluxe Mac/PC collection, by popular request. Users of the Syntronik app - or the new CS free version - can enjoy the additional synths, which are being offered as in-app purchases either individually, or as a set.

Syntronik - the legendary powerhouse
Syntronik offers the definitive and best-sounding collection of vintage synthesizers in a virtual instrument to date, covering the most iconic to ultra-rare vintage synthesizers of all time. This new update offers 450 new instrument presets for five new synths, covering the sounds of highly requested classic synthesizers.

The five new synths are:

Memory-V: IK's take on the legendary Memorymoog 6-voice, 18-oscillator monster analog polysynth from the USA, featuring over 3,000 samples.

SH-V: Based on two highly stylized two oscillator Roland® monosynths, the SH-5 and SH-2 from Japan, featuring over 3,000 samples.

M-Poly: Based on two iconic Korg® SSM-based signature sounding analog legends, the Mono/Poly and Polysix from Japan, featuring over 1,500 samples.

VCF3: IK's take on the ultra-rare and often peculiar sounding British tabletop modular, the EMS VCS3 from the UK, featuring over 4,000 samples.

Modulum: Analog modular drums and percussion created with interconnected Modular Moog®, EMS VCS3 and Alesis® Andromeda synths, featuring over 1,900 samples.

All Syntronik synths accurately recreate the actual sound of vintage synthesizers using a combination of sampling and modeling to ensure truly authentic results. IK's proprietary DRIFT™ technology varies the phase, color and pitch of the sampled oscillators in a subtle fashion to keep them moving just like real analog oscillators.

An analog modeled filter section with mix-and-match capabilities offers pristine reproduction of the most critical section of every synthesizer, and unique combinations never heard before. Also onboard are professional effects with a lunch-box style configuration that is unmatched in the world of virtual instruments, along with advanced features like layers, splits and arpeggiators.

Available as a free app
Synth fans can try Syntronik for iOS risk-free. The new Syntronik CS iOS is a light version of Syntronik that includes a sampling of carefully selected instrument presets from various synth models. With this app, users can start experimenting and playing with parts, multis, effects and arpeggiators.

Options, Pricing and availability
Each version of the app can be upgraded, and individual models (or all of them together) can be purchased at any time via the in-app shop. A variety of convenient options is now available, to fit everyone's needs and budgets.

The Syntronik app is available to download from the App Store for $/€9.99 and includes presets from the 17 synths found in the original Syntronik Mac/PC version.

Syntronik CS is available for free download and includes a smaller selection of presets covering the most popular synths from Syntronik.

Both versions can be expanded via in-app purchase: The Syntronik IAP ($/€79.99) offers access to all 17 of the original Syntronik synths. The Syntronik Deluxe IAP ($/€99.99) includes the original 17 synths plus the five new synths found in Syntronik Deluxe, for a total of 22 synths. Syntronik app users who already own all 17 synths can upgrade using the Syntronik Deluxe Upgrade IAP ($/€19.99) to access the five new Syntronik Deluxe synths.

Individual synths may also be purchased in either version of the app for $/€9.99 each.
