Special Guests, Speakers And Performers To Be Announced
(August 29, 2018 – New York, NY) The ENVSN two-day festival is set to kick off on October 20-21, 2018 in Industry City, Brooklyn. The inaugural event will give the next generation a place to gain access to valuable tools and life lessons to educate, entertain and empower. Inspired by the dreamers, go-getters and future leaders, ENVSN unites influential personalities who, at the core, believe in the power of women. ENVSN’s mission is to teach the next generation that vision is power! Tickets are now on sale and you can purchase them here.
ENVSN will build an all-encompassing campus within Industry City, with two floors dedicated to consumer activities in beauty, wellness and fashion, with the hottest limited-edition and customized products available to attending guests. Created to be a conduit for high school and college students to connect with brands such as Hudson, Thinkx, and Shea Moisture (to name a few) and industry insiders for internships and employment opportunities, ENVSN presents real-life success stories as inspiration for millennial minds. To top it all off, the entire space will be flooded with music from top female DJs during the day and headlining main-stage performances after hours.
Special guests, speakers and performers are yet to be announced but programming will include an inspired series of female-driven workshops, educational panels, music performances and experiential shopping.
The powerhouse behind ENVSN, Sharifa Murdock, is a proven entrepreneur in the retail and wholesale industry for over 20 years. She has created the Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs and The Brooklyn Intern. She is an active member of the 14+ Foundation and Africa Health Now and is also deeply connected to philanthropy and giving back to her community.
As the creative force behind ENVSN, Sharifa says “I was inspired to create ENVSN to be the platform I always craved as a young woman growing up in Brooklyn – I was a girl who loved fashion and had an intense curiosity for the industry, but didn’t necessarily know where to turn to make her start into the business. ENVSN’s goal is to unite ambitious young women and give them mentorship, guidance, connections and a sense of empowerment so that they have all of the tools to be the driving force of their own futures.”
ENVSN expects to welcome 6000 attendees over two days. General Admission tickets start at $59 per day, and VIP Festival Passes start at $149 per day. Follow ENVSN for real-time updates on talent and additional programming online at www.envsnfestival.com and on Instagram @envsnfest.
