JACKSON® ADDS NEW PRO SERIES, X SERIES AND JS SERIES MODELS

Scottsdale, Ariz. (July 17, 2019) – Jackson®
today announces the expansion of its Pro Series, X Series and JS Series lineups including new finishes for the Pro SL2P MAH and X Series SL3X models, new quilt top options for the JS Spectra Bass and new fingerboard and finishes for the best-selling JS Minions.

Available in a new Carmel Burl finish with matching headstock, the Pro Soloist™ SL2P MAH was engineered for high-speed, technically-demanding guitar playing. The resonant mahogany body with poplar burl top is paired with a through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement rods for stiffness and stability. Its 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is designed for lightspeed playing—curved by the nut for comfortable chording and flattened up the neck (with hand-rubbed oil back finish) for fast playing speed and wide bends.

Modern Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbucking pickups drive this guitar’s voice with plenty of high output for pristine cleans and snarling distortion. Single volume and tone controls shape the pickups’ output, which can be further refined with the three-way pickup toggle switch. Dive and soar expressively with the Floyd Rose® 1000 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system.

A natural beauty, the SL2P MAH is completed with white body, neck and headstock binding, alumiloid piranha tooth inlays and black hardware. See it in action here with our new SL2 video!

The popular X Series Soloist™ SL3X makes a bold statement in a brand-new intense Neon Yellow finish.

The sleekly contoured poplar body and neck-through-body construction of the SL3X ensure ergonomic comfort during long sets while maintaining monstrous sustain and playability all the way up to the 24th jumbo fret. Graphite-reinforcement rods run through the maple neck, while the ultra-fast 12”-16” compound radius bound laurel fingerboard is built from the get-go for easy chording and riffing near the nut and rapid, fret-out-free leads up the neck.

The SL3X comes with a select power trio of Duncan Designed™ pickups; high-output HR-101 Hot Rails single-coil pickups in the middle and neck positions are matched to a powerful HB-103B humbucking bridge pickup. Single volume and tone knobs with a five-way blade switch control the formidable pickups’ output, while an easy-to-use recessed Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo bridge system ensures a return to its original tuning after every dive-bomb.

The highly affordable SL3X bears Jackson traditional appointments—black hardware, knurled dome-style control knobs, durable finish that easily shakes off sweat and other grime, pearloid sharkfin fingerboard inlays and the famous Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock.

Stylish, new quilt maple top options are now available for the Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass.

The 4-string JS Series Spectra Bass JS3Q and 5-string Spectra Bass JS3QV brandish an offset body style designed with the artist in mind. The poplar body with quilt maple top features a large upper horn that evenly distributes weight throughout the instrument, providing perfect balance by reducing neck dive for hours of comfortable playing. The graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple neck with scarf joint design generates formidable sustain, while the speed neck contour and 12”-16” compound radius laurel fingerboard (with 24 frets) make for lightning-fast playability.

Dual passive Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups tackle everything from funk, to hard rock or gospel with a deafening low-end rumble, while a HiMass™ bridge provides rock-solid stability, improved sustain and bolder tone.

Tone can be adjusted further with a two-way toggle switch for pickup coil splitting, 3-band EQ (active only), blend control and volume control (with push/pull selector to bypass or engage the active circuit for the 3-band EQ). The push/pull selector in the volume knob bypasses the active circuit to regain sound from the bass should the battery in active position lose power.

The 34”-scale JS3Q dons a vibrant Amber Blue Burst finish and a unique Jackson 2x2 headstock topped with an understated J logo, while the 35”-scale JS3QV comes in a vivid Alien Burst finish with a 3x2 headstock. Both models feature black nickel hardware.

The Jackson Minions are pint-sized metal machines that pack a tonal wallop.

The JS Series Dinky™ Minion JS1X, JS Series Dinky™ Minion JS1XM, JS Series RR Minion JS1XM and JS Series Concert™ Bass Minion JS1XM are ideal for aspiring little shredders or grownup road dogs who need an easy-traveling instrument with features they love.

The Dinky Minion JS1X, Dinky Minion JS1XM and RR Minion JS1XM models offer a 2/3-scale (22.5”) length with a poplar body, speedy bolt-on maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods and a 12” radius fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays. A rear-angled Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock allows for evenly distributed tension (reducing playing fatigue), while a sculpted heel paves the way for easy upper fret playing.

A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets crank out clear tone with plenty of girth. The neck position delivers bright highs, while the bridge adds plenty of crunchy distortion that can be shaped with a three-way blade switch and single volume and tone controls.

The Dinky Minion JS1X makes a statement in a vivid new Metallic Blue Burst finish with an amaranth fingerboard, while the Dinky Minion JS1XM and RR Minion JS1XM are offered in an all-new stark Snow White finish with a maple fingerboard. All models rock black hardware and a pointy Jackson headstock.

Plenty of balanced, deep tone radiates from a Jackson P style neck pickup, while a Jackson J style bridge pickup works double-time by eliminating hum and delivering punchy tone note after note. Customize this instrument’s voice with a pair of volume knobs and a single tone knob, and enjoy greater note sustain from the hardtail bridge with black base plate.

Boasting diverse low-end tone, classic Jackson style and an unbelievably affordable price tag, the four-string Concert Bass Minion JS1XM comes in an all-new Snow White finish with black hardware and pointy Jackson headstock.
