Santa Monica, Calif. (July 24, 2020) — The Recording Academy® Producers & Engineers Wing® announces that it is holding a Virtual Table session at this year's WAMCon Virtual event, July 24-25, 2020. In response to the current health pandemic, WAM has moved its conference to an online setting for the first time. WAMCon Virtual will deliver WAM's leading panels, workshops and live demos in a safe environment and accessible format. The Women's Audio Mission (WAM) is a nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of women and gender non-conforming (GNC) individuals in music production and the recording arts.As part of the conference's Virtual Tables program on Zoom, on Saturday, June 25, from 12:30-1:00 pm PDT, Maureen Droney, Senior Managing Director of the Recording Academy's P&E Wing, will host and moderate a panel composed of prominent P&E Wing members titled "Producing, Writing and Beatmaking," featuring Jennifer Decilveo (GRAMMY® and Brit-nominated Producer/Songwriter, and member of Recording Academy L.A. Chapter), Lynne Earls (music producer, songwriter and sound engineer, and Recording Academy L.A. Chapter Vice President) and Elise Perry (music producer/arranger, and Recording Academy D.C. Chapter President). This Virtual Table session will feature a brief overview of the P&E Wing, a short panel on the creative process (beatmaking, producing, and songwriting), and a brief Q&A.
