Touting superb craftsmanship and rich, warm sound, Luna acoustics have long been sought after for their remarkable aesthetics. Like other acoustic instruments in Luna’s Vista Series, the Vista Eagle blurs the line between fine art and advanced acoustic guitar building. This model features an aesthetically pleasing portrait of an eagle in its natural habitat, depicted by using a variety of tropical woods across the body of the guitar. The design starts off with a gloss-finished, flamed maple-bound, Grand Concert cutaway body with choice koa back and sides for enhanced tone and projection. The top is handcrafted from a combination of padauk, quilt mahogany, koa, and spalted maple, making each guitar a completely unique work of art.
Offering set-neck construction, the Vista Eagle’s body is fitted with a hand-shaped 25.5’’ scale mahogany neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard and Pearl Moon Phase inlays. The bone nut offers a 1 11/16’’ width, while the ebony bridge provides ample sustain and resonance. Sealed diecast tuners provide tuning stability, and black-and-gold hardware adds an extra touch of sophistication to this guitar’s natural beauty.
Once plugged in, the Vista Eagle takes off in yet another sonic direction thanks to the Fishman Presys+ (PRO-PSY-201) preamp with built-in tuner, offering clear, strong, natural acoustic sound on stage, even when it’s up against dense instrumentation. The built-in EQ offers ample versatility to adjust levels and achieve the right acoustic tone for the music style or venue.
The Vista Eagle’s feel, playability, and standalone acoustic sound are nothing short of inspirational. Recognizing that players have varying acoustic influences, Luna offers the Vista Eagle in 6-string and 12-string models, as well as a Uke Vista Eagle Concert with a walnut neck and Fishman Kula onboard ukulele preamp system with 3-band EQ. Aside from their unique acoustic ranges, all three Vista Eagle models share similar material selections for the exotic top design and other key elements. A leather-tooled hardshell case and specialized D'Addario strings accompany the 6-string and 12-string models. A padded gig bag and Aquila Super Nylgut® strings are included with the concert ukulele.
Players at all levels of experience can renew their inspiration and let their creativity soar with the 6-string Vista Eagle Tropical Wood acoustic-electric, available at $729 street; the 12-string at $769; and the concert ukulele at $349.
