Eric Steckel Keeps Guitar-Driven Blues Rock Alive on 'Sandstorm,' Out 9/11 via SPV Recordings

Internationally acclaimed blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter Eric Steckel has announced the release of his brand-new studio album Sandstorm out on September 11 via OPEN/SPV Recordings. To celebrate the news, Steckel released a glimpse into the new album with "She’s A Golddigger."

 

"'She's a Golddigger' is just plain fun," comments Eric Steckel. "It was one of the songs that I just couldn't wait to record for this album and I can't wait for you guys to hear it. The lyrics are just hilarious, very relatable, especially to those who are musicians or in the arts. But even if you're not, I think you'll get a kick out of this song."

About the new album, the guitar-slinging Steckel notes "Sandstorm is the most fun I've had making a record in my career thus far. The incredible vibe in the studio brought forth tons of new and spontaneous material."
