(January 25, 2018) – Jackson® is excited to release a slew of new additions to the Pro Series, X Series, and JS Series lineups including the Pro Series Dinky™ DK2 Ash, the Pro Series Dinky™ DK3 Okoume, several Pro SL2 additions with new wood and color finish options, an X Series SL4X and Warrior WRX24, and new color additions for the JS Series Monarkh SC models.
A metal machine, the Pro Series Dinky™ DK2 Ash is now offered with an Ash body in a Charcoal Gray finish with black hardware. This model also features a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and offset pearloid dots, heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel, direct mount Seymour Duncan® JB TB-4/’59 SH-1N humbucking pickups, single volume and tone controls, five-way blade switch, recessed Floyd Rose® FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo bridge system, Jackson-branded sealed die-cast tuners, Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons, and a Jackson pointed 6 in-line matching headstock with black binding.
The new Pro Series Dinky™ DK3 Okoume features a beautiful Natural satin finish on its okoume body with all-black hardware and black binding. This Jackson beast offers an HSS pickup configuration featuring a Seymour Duncan® JB TB-4 humbucking bridge pickup and Strat® SSL-6 single-coil middle and neck pickups. Other features include a one-piece bolt-on maple neck with hand-rubbed urethane gel back finish, Floyd Rose® FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo bridge system, Jackson-branded sealed die-cast tuners, Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons, and a Jackson pointed 6 in-line matching headstock.
Engineered from its inception for high speed, technically demanding guitar playing the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2 models are purebred shred machines. Jackson has expanded the line for 2018 to include the all-new Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P MAH and the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P HT MAH, which feature a poplar burl top on the mahogany Soloist body.
Both models also feature a one-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and alumiloid piranha tooth inlays, Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbucking pickups, single volume and tone controls, three-way toggle switch, Jackson-branded die-cast tuners, Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons and Jackson pointed 6-in-line matching headstock.
The Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P MAH features a Floyd Rose® FRT-O5000 double-locking tremolo bridge system and is available in Aqua Shock or Desert Sand finishes with black nickel hardware, while the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P HT MAH comes in a Carmel Burl finish with black hardware and features a Jackson HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge.
Jackson has added new color finishes to the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2 with a gorgeous Deep Black with chrome hardware or Deep Purple Metallic finish with black nickel hardware.
The Pro Series Soloist™ SL2Q MAH is also now available in two new finishes over the elegant quilt maple tops — Northern Lights with single-ply body, neck and headstock binding and black nickel hardware, or Purple Phaze with single-ply neck and headstock binding and black nickel hardware.
A hardtail version of the Northern Lights finish is also available in the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2Q HT MAH, and features a Jackson HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge.
Jackson has also added new options to its single-cutaway Pro Series Monarkh models. The all-new Pro Series Monarkh SC Ash features a mahogany body with arched maple cap and ash top, new Seymour Duncan® JB SH-4 and Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1N pickups and a Charcoal Ash finish with black hardware.
Sharing similar traits, the Pro Series Monarkh SCQ features a quilt maple top and is available in new Alien Burst or Satin Amber finishes with black hardware.
Rounding out the Pro Series lineup, Jackson has added new color options to the Pro Series King V™ with Gloss Black and Ferrari Red finishes, as well as the Pro Series King V™ KV MAH, which features a Natural finish over the gorgeous mahogany body with gold hardware.

Distinctive and affordable, Jackson’s X Series Soloist™ models are built for speed, and loaded with purebred Jackson DNA.
The brand new X Series Soloist™ SL4X is the only product in the current lineup to offer a triple single-coil pickup route configuration.
Featuring Jackson’s trademark high-speed playability and performance with a mid-range price tag, the SL4X features a 25.5” scale, basswood body, one-piece maple neck through-body with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, 12”-16” compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and dot inlays, white neck binding, Duncan Designed™ HR-101B Hot Rails bridge pickup, Duncan Designed™ HR-101M Hot Rails middle pickup, Duncan Designed™ HR-101N Hot Rails neck pickup, single volume and tone controls, five-way blade switch, recessed Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo bridge system and Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock. The SL4X is available in three vibrant finishes: Bubblegum Pink, Daphne Blue, or Neon Orange with a single-ply white pickguard and black hardware.
New colors are also available for a number of other X Series Soloist™ models including the HSS configured X Series Soloist™ SL3X in Satin Graphite or Neon Orange with black hardware, the X Series Soloist™ SLX in Lightning Blue or Satin Red Pearl with black hardware, and the X Series Soloist™ SLX Spalted Maple with a beautiful spalted maple veneer top with a Natural finish and black hardware.
The X Series also offers two new Warrior™ models in the WRX24 and WRX24 Natural. Both models feature a 25.5” scale length, bound 12”-16” compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, Duncan Designed™ pickups, single volume and tone controls, three-way toggle switch, Floyd Rose® Special double-locking 2-point tremolo bridge system, and Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock.
The WRX24 features a one-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint in a Gloss Black finish with white binding and gold hardware, while the WRX24 Natural features resonant mahogany body wings, a three-piece maple/mahogany/maple neck-through-body with graphite reinforcement and a Natural finish with white binding and striking gold hardware.
Also new is the X Series King V™ KVX featuring a basswood body, one-piece through-body maple-neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, 12”-16” compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, single volume and tone controls, three-way toggle switch, dual covered Jackson active high-output humbucking pickups, quick change battery compartment and recessed Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo bridge system. This model is available in two stunning finishes — Gloss Black with white body binding and black hardware or Snow White with black body binding and black hardware.
The shorter 24.75”-scale length X Series Monarkh is also available in two new color additions – the SCX FM comes in a stunning Cherry Burst finish and features an arched flame maple top with white binding and black hardware, while the X Series Monarkh SCX Zebrawood boasts an arched zebrawood top in a Natural finish with single-ply white binding and black hardware.

For the affordable JS Series lineup, Jackson has added new finish options for the Monarkh SC. The JS Series Monarkh SC JS22 now comes in a Red Stain or Tobacco Stain with black hardware, while the JS Series Monarkh SC JS22Q is available in Transparent Purple Burst and features a quilt maple top and black hardware.
JS Series Monarkh models feature a 24.75” scale length, bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, 12”-16” compound radius amaranth fingerboard with single-ply white binding, 22 jumbo frets and white dot inlays, dual Jackson high-output humbucking pickups, single volume and tone controls, three-way toggle switch, Jackson radius compensated TOM-style bridge with anchored tailpiece, Jackson-branded sealed die-cast tuners and Jackson 3x3 AT-1 headstock.
