JACKSON® ANNOUNCES NEW ARTIST SIGNATURE MODELS

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (January 25, 2018) – Jackson® is proud to announce the addition of a brand-new signature artist to the roster in Oli Herbert from All That Remains, as well as additional signature model offerings for Act of Defiance’s Chris Broderick, Revocation’s Dave Davidson, and Misha Mansoor of Periphery.

All That Remains has staked an electrifying claim at the forefront of modern hard rock and metal, defying convention and redefining its own influential evolution at every turn. Integral to all of it is the intricate and utterly crushing work of the founding guitarist, whom Jackson now proudly honors with the USA Signature Limited Edition Oli Herbert Rhoads.

"Jackson had always been the benchmark for what a metal guitar should be,” said Herbert. “Randy Rhoads is a big influence on me, and he was a Jackson player. I remember when I first joined the band, our old guitar player had a Jackson V, and I remember playing it and thinking ‘Wow, this is phenomenal.’ The V has a perfect ergonomic design that always hangs in an optimal position for live playing! I love Jackson and the products they make and am proud to be part of the team.”

Based on the model he uses onstage, the signature Oli Herbert Rhoads features a V-shaped mahogany body with a gorgeous ¾” quilt maple top in a unique Red Rum finish. The one-piece quartersawn maple through-body neck is graphite reinforced, with a comfortable scarf joint, Jackson 3x3 AT-1 headstock, and hand-rubbed urethane gel back finish for speed and smooth playability. The compound-radius ebony fingerboard (12”-16”) has 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, distinctive mother-of-pearl “rune” inlays, and black binding.

The real magic here, though, is the pickups. The two revolutionary Seymour Duncan® Duality humbucking pickups feature a hybrid design that combines the tonal flexibility of passive pickups with the added benefit of an active onboard preamp. The result is powerful, responsive and versatile output with articulate highs, strong midrange and punchy lows tight enough for metal but open and clear enough for blues and rock.

Other premium features include a single volume control, three-way toggle pickup switch, FU-Tone bridge and locking nut, Gotoh™ die-cast tuners, chrome hardware and a hardshell case loaded with case candy items including a signature guitar strap with runes, custom guitar picks, pick tin and certificate of authenticity signed by Herbert.

Misha Mansoor is acclaimed for his masterful guitar work in fashioning the progressive metal of Periphery. For 2018, Jackson refreshes the esteemed Djent forefather and speed demon signature lineup with all-new USA Misha Mansoor Juggernaut models as well as additional offerings for his Pro Series Juggernaut guitars.

Inspired by the distinctive Jackson Dinky™ body shape with sleekly scalloped horns and a comfortably contoured neck heel, the USA Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6 and HT7 both feature a caramelized basswood body, graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple speed neck, 20” radius caramelized flame maple fingerboard with comfortably rolled edges, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, offset plain maple dot inlays, and heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel for quick and easy neck tweaks.

Mansoor's dual Bare Knuckle Ragnarok humbucking pickups with laser etched carbon fiber covers offer tonally versatile sound, along with five-way switching, single volume control knob and a push-pull (on/off) tone knob.

The HT6 features a matching Jackson reverse 3x3 AT1 headstock with three Hipshot® open-gear locking tuners on each side, a fixed Hipshot® hardtail bridge, Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons and more.

A 7-string guitar, the HT7 features a 26.5”-scale length, fixed Hipshot® 7 hardtail bridge and matching Jackson 4x3 AT-1 headstock.

Both models are available in Satin Daphne Blue, Satin Red or Satin Silver finishes with black hardware and come in a hardshell case with a set of D'Addario® strings, pick tin and Bulb strap.

Also available are the USA Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6FM and HT7FM models in Satin Amber Tiger Eye or Satin Laguna Burst with masked off natural binding and black hardware. Featuring Bare Knuckle Juggernaut humbucking pickups with brushed chrome covers, these USA signature guitars also have caramelized mahogany bodies and striking flame maple tops with masked off natural binding in Satin Amber Tiger Eye or Satin Laguna Burst finishes.

Jackson also adds new color options to the Pro Series versions of Mansoor’s Juggernaut models.

The Pro Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6FM is now available with a flame maple top and a Scarlet Burst finish, while the Pro Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 is now offered in Gloss Black. With his dazzling thrash fretwork, Chris Broderick is heralded as an exacting and modern metal master. In continuation of the successful collaboration with Broderick to create his sophisticated signature riffing machines, Jackson now offers a pair of Pro Series hardtail models in both 6-and 7-string options.

Both the Pro Series Signature Chris Broderick Soloist™ HT6 and HT7 models feature a 25.5” scale length, resonant mahogany body, and one-piece through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for rock-solid sustain and stability. A 12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is ideal for all playing styles, comfortable for both low riffing and soaring leads.

Contemporary guitarists require tonal versatility and punchy clarity to keep pace with the rapid twists and turns of today’s metal. A pair of Broderick-designed custom DiMarzio® direct-mounted humbucking neck and bridge pickups punch well above their weight, cranking out monstrous tone that will pin your ears back. The volume control conceals a push/pull switch for coil-splitting, unlocking even more tonal options while the tone control’s push/pull switch enables the tone circuit. A mini-toggle kill switch allows for the stuttering effects that have become integral in modern metal.

Available in Metallic Blue or Metallic Black, the Pro Series Signature Chris Broderick HT6 and HT7 also feature single-ply neck and headstock binding, a Jackson Single-String hardtail bridge, sealed die-cast locking machines, Dunlop® strap locks and a reverse AT-1 matching headstock.

Over the last decade, Boston-based act Revocation has firmly established itself as one of the finest in today’s death metal and thrash metal genres. Heralded as one of modern metal’s elite guitarists, frontman Dave Davidson is also the driving force behind the band as it continues to evolve and challenge conventional metal norms.
After adding a limited edition USA Signature Warrior in 2017 for Davidson, Jackson now adds a full-time offering in the Pro Series Signature Warrior™ WR7 model.

Davidson’s take on Jackson’s revered angular shape is in a 7-string form featuring a 25.5” scale length, mahogany body with ash top and one-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, providing the utmost stability against the rigors and ravages of the road. The oiled neck back finish allows for smooth playing feel, while its 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is designed for highly technical lightspeed playing.
To meet Revocation’s propensity for building rich, complex chord voicings, Davidson teamed with DiMarzio® to create his own signature Imperium pickups, which power this signature Pro Series axe with dynamic tone and punchy clarity.

Designed so that all notes ring through, from full-bodied, tight low end while using high gain amps to crystal clear cleans on non-distorted channels, these pickups are also highly responsive to harmonics. This axe also features a single tone control, a single volume control with push/pull coil split for single-coil tone and a three-way toggle switch, along with a Floyd Rose® FRT 1000 series double-locking tremolo bridge system.

Dark and menacing, Davidson’s signature Warrior is offered in a Distressed Ash finish with black hardware and black body, neck and headstock binding.
