MusicPlayers.com Launches Major Website Redesign

Next-generation website is fully responsive and mobile optimized

Wyckoff, NJ, January 3, 2018 — MusicPlayers.com is proud to unveil a completely reimagined website, optimized for today’s serious musician, at http://www.musicplayers.com.

For 12 years, MusicPlayers.com has been the definitive online magazine focused on the needs of serious musicians and recording professionals. The brand is renowned for its in-depth product reviews of professional music and recording equipment, and it remains the only major Music Industry (MI) publisher to take a labs-based approach to product testing. MusicPlayers.com is also recognized for its in-depth artist interviews and tutorials that investigate topics of interest to the pro-level musician.

“Everything we do is just a little bit different than other MI publishers,” explains Editor-in-Chief/CEO, Scott Kahn. “By focusing on musicians at the indie band level and up through full working pros, we’ve been able to provide a fabulous platform for MI manufacturers to showcase their premium brand offerings—custom shop and signature instruments, flagship music workstations, professional studio tools, boutique gear, and more.”

Product reviews from the past - All prior/existing review URLs (links) will remain active while the team migrates historic content into the new website with an expected completion date of Q1 2018. Presently, reviews from 2017 and 2016 have made the leap. Meanwhile, musicians who read old review content and then click on site navigation links will be redirected to the updated website automatically.

“The new website provides fantastic advertising opportunities for MI companies,” explains Director of Marketing & Communications, Kim Dearborn. “With the responsive design we have implemented, we are able to serve targeted ad space that speaks directly to our advertisers market share. I’m excited to see so many leading MI companies jump on board as we launched the new site ahead of the 2018 Winter NAMM Show.”

With a strong leadership team in place including Scott Kahn, Kim Dearborn, and recently appointed Features Editor, Jennifer L. Pricci, MusicPlayers.com is poised for significant growth in 2018. Expect to see a significant push promoting MusicianFinder.com, the free website for musicians, focused on helping artists connect with other musicians for their bands, gigs, and recording projects.
