Luna Guitars Unveils Gypsy Exotic Caidie Acoustic-Electric Guitar

TAMPA, FL — Luna Guitars unveils the Gypsy Exotic Caidie Acoustic-Electric guitar, a beautifully bohemian instrument that takes basic guitar design to the next level. Furthering the tradition of Luna’s Gypsy Series, the Gypsy Exotic Caidie A/E pairs desirable features with exotic wood choices at an affordable price point. Plus, players can dial in their sound and plug into an amp with the Luna SL3 Preamp with 3-band EQ and tuner. Whether jamming at home or around a campfire, the Gypsy Exotic Caidie A/E proves it’s a worthy acoustic companion for a variety of musical settings and styles.

Luna’s Gypsy acoustics are unique because of the organic nature of the exotic woods used to craft these beautiful looking instruments. Like other models in the series, the Gypsy Exotic Caidie A/E starts with a traditional mahogany body (25 1/2-inch scale). The deep, warm red of the mahogany back and sides contrasts beautifully against the deep grain of the flat caidie top. The combination is not only visually appealing, but powerfully resonant. The Grand Concert Cutaway shape provides comfortable playability, especially for beginners, but offers enough depth and volume for the full acoustic experience. Three-ply, black-white-black binding and a Gloss Natural finish provide sophisticated touches on an otherwise rugged exterior.

Luna’s set-neck construction improves acoustic resonance and tonal transfer between the body and neck. The Gypsy Exotic Caidie A/E offers a mahogany neck with a dual-action truss rod, so players can make slight adjustments as needed. The 20-fret pau ferro fingerboard offers a comfortable C-shape, and the dark wood is illuminated by Luna’s signature pearloid moon phase inlays. A flatter 15-inch fingerboard radius and 1 11/16-inch nut width help provide a traditional acoustic playing experience that can include solos and note bending. Pau ferro appears again at the bridge, further enhancing the acoustic resonance of this model. Sealed die cast tuners and chrome hardware polish off the look, as does the Luna insignia on the headstock.

Whether players want an instrument that can assist the creative songwriting process or hold its own during an open mic, the Gypsy Exotic Caidie A/E is an eye-catching acoustic delivering excellent tone at an affordable price.
