SOLAR GUITARS goes into BLITZ Mode and launches the first CHOP SHOP Guitars, Finished and Assembled in Spain

Outside the walls of the Ancient City of Girona in Catalunya, Spain, is Solar Guitars’ main facility and home of their new “CHOP SHOP” custom mod, finish and assembly shop. Vice President Joe Delaney explains; “Extreme finishes & mods plus top-notch assembly and set-up are what this is all about... and, most important is our new specialty: truly violent finish processes using methods of custom manipulation that challenge the notions of what can be done to a wood-based instrument. The results are epic and ground-breaking.” Hence the first release aptly called the BLITZ. Using 10000+ volts of electricity (do not try at home), Electric lightning blitz lines are burned into the wood creating a unique pattern on every guitar in a process never-before offered with a production instrument. Afterwards the body is cleaned and finished natural or black before poly sealer coats are applied. Once dry, assembly begins with a roasted maple 3-pieceneck fitted with Solar locking tuners, Floyd Rose installation, pickups, electronics wiring and shielding, strings strung up and final set-up by our experienced luthiers to be ready for any level of professional stage or studio. MCAS Custom fitted ABS molded TSA flight-ready case is included along with a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by the Artisan Master that assembled each guitar.
