Four Iconic Amps
LERXST OMEGA
The culmination of a 5-decade tone journey, the LERXST OMEGA is Alex's current signature amplifier and is a perfect sonic replica of the amps used on Rush's "Clockwork Angels" album. With a straightforward two-channel design with switchable clipping modes, the LERXST OMEGA combines the best of all his previous favorites into one inspiring amp. Included are captures from crunch to lead settings using a LERXST OMEGA 4x12 cab.
Curly
Based on a Marshall 6100 30th Anniversary, one of the most versatile amp designs yet produced, 'Curly' played an essential role in providing Alex with every era of British guitar tone on stage and in the studio. From his roots in British blues and early rock players to the massive arena rock and metal tones he defined for himself, Alex relied on 'Curly,' leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of epic rock guitar sounds. It faithfully was captured using a 1960BV straight 4x12 cabinet miked with a SM57 and Royer 121.
Club and Country
Based on Alex's original Marshall JMP 4140 Club and Country 2x12, this rare and unique combo amplifier was the key to Alex discovering his voice on the guitar. Boasting a distinctive 'clean-yet-dirty' sound that pairs wonderfully with delay and modulation effects and an airy, open tone from the modeled open-back cabinet, this is THE sound of "Moving Pictures" and a fresh flavor of classic British tone. From clean to rich, overdriven tones were captured for this collection based on Alex's preferred settings.
H&K TriAmp
These Tone Models are based on one of Alex's first signature amplifiers. This amp was the backbone of Rush guitar tones from the late 1990s through the early 2000s, offering a smooth, modern flavor of gain. This amp is the ideal 'Swiss army knife' problem-solver in any dense guitar mix, effortlessly tweakable with sounds ranging from crystalline cleans to massive, almost hi-fi distorted tones. Channels A and B were captured through a custom 4x12 cabinet using an SM57 and R121 mic.

Alex Lifeson Legacy can be browsed and purchased via ToneNET, IK's online tone-sharing and social platform, or within any TONEX Mac/PC version, including the free TONEX CS. After purchase, it becomes activated inside TONEX software by selecting "Restore Purchases" in the Account panel.
