New Macklemore anthem from first solo album in 12 years

Today, Macklemore releases his new anthemic single “Glorious” featuring Skylar Grey. The track was produced by longtime musical collaborator Josh “Budo” Karp with whom Macklemore has worked since 2005’s ‘The Language Of My World.’ Tyler Dopps contributed additional production.

 

“Glorious” follows two solo songs released last fall, “Wednesday Morning” and “Drug Dealer” featuring Ariana DeBoo, which amassed over 50 million streams on YouTube and Spotify alone. 

Macklemore's forthcoming album is his first solo project in 12 years, following two releases with producer Ryan Lewis: the multiple-GRAMMY award winning album ‘The Heist’ and 2016 release ‘This Unruly Mess I’ve Made' (featuring Platinum-certified single "Downtown"). Collectively Macklemore’s music videos have been viewed over 2 billion times and he is one of only two rappers to have a Diamond-certified single.
