GREZ GUITARS RELEASES THE NEW 5-STRING GRAND TOUR BASS A SHORT SCALE SEMI-HOLLOW CARVED-TOP

November 18, 2025, PETALUMA, California – Today, Grez Guitars announces the release of the 5-String Grez Grand Tour Bass, a short scale, 16” semi-hollow carve-top. The Grez Grand Tour Bass, originally designed in collaboration with bass powerhouse Ian Martin Allison is, like all Grez instruments, a modern sleek interpretation of the classic instruments from the 50’s and 60’s.

To follow the initial 4-string short scale bass, a full set of variants are now available including 4 or 5 string configured as a low B or high C, 30” or 34” scale, fretted or fretless and right or left-handed. Barry Grzebik explains: “The Grand Tour Bass released earlier this year really seems to have filled a void in the market and I believe this launch exemplifies my desire to be the place people come to for the “slightly different” vibe not always available from the larger contemporary bands.”

The Grez Grand Tour Bass, is available now from Grez Guitars and their dealers. Light customization is welcome with delivery times as little as 8 to 10 weeks.

Street price starting at $6,300. Available for Order Immediately.
