"It's all happening," says Scott Kirkland. "I've been working in the studio with my mate, the very talented Glen Nichols  We've cooked up a set filled with classics from Vegas, Tweekend , Legion of Boom and so much more including at least two new tunes," says Kirkland "I'm rolling out v1 of my new rig which I have yet to nameon the Tool shows. Fitted with Roland synths, FX & drums, two custom Nexus Bass Odyssey 2000's, MacBookPro, UAD Apollo 16, EMU Vintage Keys, Line 6 Pod Rack, a selection of signature Moog Moogerfoogers and anchored on two 28" kick drums... This is not your average DJ setup. Stay tuned for updates/posts with more details and pictures."

Grammy Award®-nominated, platinum-certified electronic dance music innovator THE CRYSTAL METHOD (Scott Kirkland) is touring now with TOOL as special guest on a two-week North American summer tour. Performing select headline shows in between the arena and amphitheater dates and beyond, shows in NYC, Seattle, Portland and San Diego have been announced  This marks THE CRYSTAL METHOD's first tour in over two years. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.

After attending THE CRYSTAL METHOD's first show with TOOL in Calgary, Lisa Wilton of the Calgary Herald (6/13/17) commented in her review,"Scott Kirkland, a.k.a. The Crystal Method, warmed up the crowd with a 40-minute set of galvanic EDM. One of the leading lights of the '90s Big Beat scene, which also included such acts as Fat Boy Slim, The Chemical Brother and The Prodigy, The Crystal Method stood out by making accessible dance music that was more experimental than their contemporaries.  It was Kirkland's first date on this portion of the Tool tour and he was in high spirits, thanking the audience after almost every song....On the surface, TCM and Tool don't have much in common, but both acts challenge the listener. If you like Tool's style of hard rock, you should be able to appreciate The Crystal Method's approach to dance music."

In other news, Kirkland recently contributed to the score for the upcoming NETFLIX documentary Hired Gun-premiering this summer. Following this summer run, THE CRYSTAL METHOD will commence recording a new album, the follow-up to 2014's self-titled The Crystal Method.

Stay tuned for more.

About THE CRYSTAL METHOD:
THE CRYSTAL METHOD's first singles would be released only on vinyl followed by their 1997 debut album Vegas, which would become certified platinum by the RIAA. In between releasing albums and never-ending tours, The Crystal Method's founders Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan's demand amplified within the film and television worlds. They delivered the smash "(Can't You) Trip Like I Do" with Filter's Richard Patrick for the gold-selling Spawn soundtrack, wrote the theme song for "Bones," scored the indie film London and the J.J. Abrams-produced "Almost Human" for Fox. They also scored characters for The League of Legends video game, and contributed music to everything from Real Steel to Fast & Furious 6, along the way working with Danny Elfman, Tom Morello, LeAnn Rimes, Scott Weiland, Metric's Emily Haines, LMFAO and even film star Milla Jovovich. Legion of Boom notched a 2004 Grammy Award nomination for "Best Dance/Electronic Album"-during the category's first year. They also received another Grammy nomination for Divided By Night in 2009, while delivering unforgettable sets on the stages of Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella, Lollapalooza and HFStival to name a few.
