Korg Announces the New TM-60; an Advanced Combo Tuner and Metronome

Melville, NY – December 1st, 2017 – Korg’s best-selling TM tuner series has just added the TM60; a tuner metronome combo that now allows for simultaneous usage between pitch and rhythm training. The TM-60 includes a larger screen with a backlit LCD for increased visibility when playing and to accommodate the dual tuner and metronome features.
Not only does the new model include Korg’s proprietary technology that accurately detects correct pitch when tuning, but the circuitry has been redesigned to achieve a battery life of 130 hours, approximately double that of previous models.
In addition to the TM-60 combo tuner metronome, a contact microphone version will be available as well. The TM-60C will include a CM-200 contact mic which when attached to an instrument, detects tuning by the vibrations.
“Korg was the first company to release the electronic tuner, so it’s no wonder our tuners are still the best in the industry, over 40 years later,” says John Stippell, Product Manager of Guitar Brands at Korg USA. “The TM tuner series has been our best-selling tuning product and the first choice of band & orchestral students, since its release in 2012. We’re happy to include the new TM-60s to Korg’s successful tuner line,” Stippell concludes. The TM-60 can be purchased in either black or white and will be available December 2017 for $29.99.
The TM-60C will be available (date) for (price). For more information on Korg tuners, visit
