NEW YORK, NY- Mooer have added two new Micro Preamps, the 014 Taxidea Taxus and the 015 Brown Sound to their Micro Preamp series.
Since Mooer launched the Micro Preamp series in January of 2017, the pedals have become a favorite of gigging and touring musicians. The small size and light weight of the Micro Preamp allows musicians to trade their heavy and expensive tube amplifiers for a lighter and less expensive solution.
Osiamo’s Ed Matthiack says, “Many of our artists have started discovering the possibility of replacing their tube amplifiers by including a Mooer Micro Preamp and a Mooer Baby Bomb 30 on a small, portable pedal board without sacrificing tone.”
Scotti Hill of Skid Row comments, “Mooer Audio is doing great things with these preamps. The rented gear we use on fly dates is usually old, unmaintained, and sounds bad. This is a lightweight and consistent travel solution.”
All Mooer Micro Preamp come complete with dual channels, integrated speaker cabinet simulation, and dual operating modes. Mooer Micro Preamps are sonically accurate digital recreations of the preamp sections of popular tube amplifiers. Mooer developed these preamps by analyzing real tube amplifiers to capture their sound, dynamics and response.
Mooer Micro Preamps 014 and 015 are now available at a street price of $99 each.
