UVI RELEASES UVX670, A DUAL ‘80s ANALOG HYBRID BASED ON THE VX600 AND AX73

UVI releases UVX670, a dual ‘80s analog hybrid based on the VX600 and AX73, featuring over 300 patches, built-in effects and more

Paris, July 10th, 2019 - UVI releases UVX670, a dual ‘80s analog hybrid synth based on two vintage instruments designed by Japanese synthmaker Akai. Combining the VX600, a 12-VCO six-voice, and the AX73, a 6-VCO multimode, into a versatile and charactered vintage analog hybrid. With over 300 custom presets created by the sound designers at UVI, UVX670 delivers a wide selection of both archetypal and creative patches perfect for genre-based production, as well, presets can be designed from scratch for those looking to create new and inspiring sounds with an authentic vintage analog flavor.

UVX670 features a dual-layer design with one layer for each of the physical synths, both featuring huge selections of sounds that can be used either independently or stacked for massive analog tones. Each layer offers discrete voice selection, and control over volume, pan, filters, amplitude and filter envelopes, pitch, portamento, stereo modes, modulation targets and arpeggiators, allowing users to freely create anything from rich, layered unisons to complex, evolving interplays. Every sound was recorded per-note, and for the AX73 every sample was made twice, once with and once without the built-in chorus effect, allowing users to enable it at will.

Versatile modulation and effect sections are included adding depth and further customization options via high-quality LFOs, step editors, EQ, drive, Thorus, ensemble, delay, and Sparkverb, while a handy modwheel editor puts commonly used parameters like vibrato and filter depth in reach.

All presets in UVX670 can be fully edited, allowing everything from subtle mix adjustments to complete reshaping with ease.

UVX670 offers native 64-bit standalone operation by way of Falcon or the free UVI Workstation, providing comprehensive support for all modern DAWs and simultaneous authorization on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.

UVX670 is available immediately at the introductory price of $49/49€ through July 15th, 2019 (regularly $79 / 79€)
