May 14th, 2025 - Jackson Guitars, EVH and Gretsch have all announced new models available today.
First, Jackson is announcing a new finish available on Scott Ian’s Signature KVXT Guitar: Gloss Black. This metal thrasher features a three-ply black pickguard with gold hardware, gold speed knobs, single volume and tone controls and a black three-way toggle switch.
Additionally, the model features high-output humbucking pickups and a 12"-16" compound radius bound Rosewood fingerboard. This model even features an old school Jackson logo on the headstock.

Furthermore, to power and amplify premium guitars like Scott Ian’s Signature KVXT, EVH is launching the 5150 Iconic Series 15W EL34 1X10 Combo – a powerful tube tone delivering the signature sound and growling gain of Eddie Van Helen at an affordable price. This amplifier features a custom designed EVH 10” Celestio speaker voiced specifically for this preamp circuit. Additionally, it is powered by one EL34 power tube and voiced by a complex, multi-stage hybrid preamp section anchored by a duet of ECC83. Punching above its weight, this combo features two channels with an extra voicing on each for even more versatility – one to run from clean tones to increasing gain while the other adds fiery crunch that’s ideal for blistering leads.
