The XF6LB starts with select AAA book-matched flat flame maple top that is truly stunning and foresees this to be a highly collectible instrument for the ages. The body and neck are hand-selected pieces from aged stocks of African mahogany with a fretboard cut from Richlite, which feels great and is incredibly stable compared to traditional woods. It is enhanced with stainless steel super jumbo frets, Luminlay fret markers and Solar 12th fret logo inlay. An Evertune Bridge, Solar 18:1 locking tuners and GraphTech Tusq nut provide perfection in tuning stability. The EU custom wound SA56BEU and SA56NEU Solar Modern humbuckers are a more modern and aggressive take on the classic Solar Alnico V, focused to perfectly match these new instruments.

Each pickup is installed directly into the wood with brass countersinks to create a harmonious tonal marriage between body resonance and electrical output. Switchcraft toggle switch, CTS potentiometers and PureTone output jack complete the electronics package. Each guitar ships in a custom MCX flight-ready molded case with certificate of authenticity personally signed by Ola Englund.
