The X update introduces two new amplifier skins and new tools for browsing presets, preserving essential settings and experimenting with guitar tone.HELSINKI, FINLAND, October 28, 2026 – Neural DSP today announced Morgan Amps Suite X, the latest evolution of its Morgan Amplification plugin. Preserving the warmth, harmonic richness and touch-sensitive response of its three modeled Morgan amplifiers, the X update introduces refreshed visuals and new preset management and editing tools that make it easier for guitarists to find, organize and refine their sound.
The update includes two new amplifier skins alongside Global Lock, Preset Explorer, Tooltips and Undo/Redo, giving players greater control as they browse sounds and experiment with settings.

What’s New
Morgan Amps Suite X introduces the following updates:
- Updated Visuals: Refreshed visuals, including two new skins for the amplifiers, give players more options for personalizing their appearance.

Global Lock: Keep input, gate, transpose, doubler and output settings consistent when switching between presets, allowing players to explore sounds while preserving their preferred core settings.

Preset Explorer: Navigate preset folders through a dedicated left panel featuring search, customizable tags, favorites and quick access to recently used presets.

Tooltips: Hover over a parameter to view helpful descriptions in the bottom utility bar.

Undo/Redo: An edit history allows guitarists to retrace adjustments, reverse changes and return to earlier settings as they refine their tone.
Morgan Amps Suite X retains the original plugin’s AC20, PR12 and SW50R amplifier models, capturing tones ranging from bright, detailed cleans to rich, saturated overdrive. Founded by Joe Morgan in 2009, Morgan Amplification draws on classic amplifier designs with an emphasis on touch sensitivity, responsiveness and compatibility with complex pedalboards.The suite also includes compression, overdrive, tremolo, delay and reverb effects, a nine-band graphic EQ for each amplifier, and cabinet simulation with custom impulse response loading. More than 100 curated presets from Charlie Robbins, Jack Gardiner, Rabea Massaad, Joshua De La Victoria and the Neural DSP team offer starting points for shaping a personal sound.
