Paris, July 7th, 2022 - UVI release Dual Delay X, a powerful new spatial delay using unitary rotation and reflection matrices to achieve complex stereo field manipulations with ease. Dual Delay X lets users create incredibly lush sounds, from clean to highly-charactered effects with a deeply-editable feedback path including filters, diffusion, dispersion, digital bit and sample rate reduction, analog tape saturation, drive, and more.
Using an architecture similar to feedback delay networks used in reverbs, Dual Delay X creates powerful phase modulation effects with width and rotation controls positioned before and after the feedback path. An easy-to-master single panel UI makes tweaking your sound a breeze while stereo and phase graphs help to visualize what’s happening under the hood.
Users can take advantage of a versatile selection of modules within the feedback path to sculpt and shape their sound over time, including a customizable peak filter, low and high cut filters, fully adjustable dispersion an diffusion, a digital grit section with bit and sample rate reduction, and a modeled tape saturation section with analog warmth and drive controls.
Finally, a large collection of hand-crafted factory presets are available to get you up and running. Explore the sonic range of Dual Delay X with categories such as Stereo, Mono, Short (Reverbish), Mods, Special FX, and more. Tweak and iterate your sounds confidently with built-in A/B switching, and utilize parameter locks to take the pain out of preset surfing.
Dual Delay X is compatible with current versions of all major DAWs on both Mac and Windows platforms (VST, VST3, AU, and AAX). A single license includes 3 activations that can be used on any combination of individual computer systems or iLok keys. A 15-day trial is available on uvi.net.
