LOVE Synthesizers Announces Pre-Orders for FIRST LOVE, the Award-Winning Exploratory FM Synthesizer

The portable, standalone instrument begins shipping in October through select global retailers

Reykjavik, Iceland, August 19, 2026– LOVE Synthesizers have announced that FIRST LOVE, its highly anticipated standalone synthesizer and recipient of the Best Innovation Award at Superbooth 2024, is now available for pre-order through select retailers worldwide ahead of shipments beginning in October 2026. Designed to make wave morphing and FM synthesis intuitive without sacrificing depth, FIRST LOVE combines a responsive touchscreen with tactile controls to create an entirely new approach to electronic music-making.

After years of research, design, and refinement, FIRST LOVE introduces a fresh approach to sound design through wave shaping, morphing envelopes and FM synthesis with an interface built around direct interaction rather than complex menus. Its expressive workflow combines animated touch interaction with responsive physical controls, allowing musicians to sculpt sounds visually while maintaining the tactile immediacy of hardware. “No other hardware I know of that lets you tune your own microtonal scales in such a tactile, fast and intuitive way,“ said musician and film composer, Úlfur Hansson.
